Still a Classic. Always a Classic...I get it!

When I was in 8th grade, I bought a can of New Coke and eagerly took my first sip. "Meh", I thought.

Well, that "meh" was heard 'round the world and Coca Cola quickly reverted to the original formula, adding the equivalent of 3 lines of pure Peruvian flake to each can.

Somehow, this was less well-received than anticipated and the company was forced to return to the formula I was still growing up on.

The other day, I was taking a deep drink of this nectar of the American People and realized that it was still "Classic" Coke. This to distinguish itself from the ill-advised "New Coke" formula we drank for like two weeks in 1982

I'm told "New Coke" is still sold in the Chicago area...and only in the Chicago area, but I'm too lazy to verify this tidbit.
